Product

Quality has a direct impact on product or service performance; thus, it is closely linked to customer value and satisfaction.” (Marketing: An Introduction, Armstrong; Kotler, p. 214)

“We define a product as anything that can be offered to a market for attention, acquisition, use, or consumption that might satisfy a want or need. Products include more than just tangible objects, such as cars, computers, or cell phones. Broadly defined, “products” also include services, events, persons, places, organizations, ideas, or mixes of these.” (Marketing: An Introduction, Armstrong; Kotler, p. 208)

Target Market Strategy

"There is no single way to segment a market. A marketer has to try different segmentation variables, alone and in combination, to find the best way to view the market structure."

"Dividing a market into different geographical units such as nations, states, regions, counties, cities, or neighborhoods."

Situation or SWOT Analysis

Over all analysis of my product is that the story is attributive and the price at $10.99 its a common bar price. My product is lacking the appeal I feel. Something that makes it jump off the shelf at you. Its easy to miss.

Eoc week 7: The pitch

My pitch is Trail mix made with yak jerky seasoned with mustard seeds; with crackers shaped like goat hooves and dried Goji berries . I piked theses food so that i could have a great story to tell about the Himalayas, monks and yaks. The packaging will  be a back that has a zip lock on top for freshness.
